Happy 2nd Anniversary to us!

We celebrated our 2nd Anniversary 1 day earlier by having a simple but expensive buffet meal at Kushin-Bo. No pictures of the food.

Then he had fun with the kiddy ride.

This is how we met.

It has been so long..

We hasn't been updating the blog, but fret not, we are still together, going strong.
大头has been busy with exam and after which started working, only after a 2 weeks break. Fattie has been busy with his EID and now serving the nation for 2 weeks. Darn the ICT. 大头 is really happy that at least she gets to see him over the weekend.

12 July marks our 20 months together.
We had soba because Fattie knows I have been wanting to have soba since the day I didn't get to eat them at Waraku.

The Japanese Barley that tasted like coffee. And that's where we had our soba.

Sashimi Chilled soba. I'm kinda disappointed because the salmon was half cooked.
His. Tempura with chilled soba.
And finally... Green tea cheesecake. Yum!

Another New Member!

Here's another new member of the family! Haha daddy hasn't come up with a proper name also. Tentatively it's named Girl Girl Bear. I know daddy lacks creativity.. But that's an apt name in my opinion. lol

It's daddy can't think of a name yet. So for now, it's bear bear. Haha...

大头had this bento making mood and she made all these the following day.
The sunflower egg which was a failure cos the egg yolk got spread out. The octodog which is fairly easy to make, frozen mixed vegetable which just need heating up and the shell pasta.
Decided not to stuff the food into a bento box cos we were eating at home. Plates are easier to wash as compared to lunch boxes.

We supposed to be going to town.
To get the bikini bottom and sandals for him.
We ended up at Vivo.
And my darling bought me this gorgeous NaRaYa bag.

Old fashion it may be. But I'm lemming for a black one some time later.

And dinner at Carl's Junior, not.
Luckily we only drink their ice tea. Their dispenser drinks are out of order.

Reuben invited us to his church for a drama production.

Finally after 2 weeks

大头finally can step out of the house!
It had been 2 weeks and she's completely out of touch with the reality when she went out.
It had been a fruitful day starting with MacDonald's breakfast, Soupspoon for lunch and Monster Mash at Holland Village for dinner. Wanted desserts at 2am Desserts Bar but they are closed.

大头 is down with chicken pox.
So far it has been 1 week already.
Awaiting for the day she can step out of the house for more actions!

15 months= 1year 3 months.

On the 15th Monthsary, 大头 had the honor of carrying a crayfish around NTU instead of flowers.
We had a small little bites of homemade salad and sandwiches at ADM after Fattie's CNY skit cum dinner with the LDP before rushing down to Chomp Chomp.

Sometimes, blurness is beauty.

2nd Valentine together

We had our first Valentine's Day celebration one year ago on 10 Feb 07 at Sentosa.
This year, we had our second one on the 10 Feb 08 again. It wasn't planned intentionally to be on the same date. It just happened that we're free on that day itself.

Dempsey!

大头Fattie went to Dempsey today.
It is like finally.
We went there wanting to visit a flea market and have Ben and Jerry's ice cream.
And yup. We did go to Ben and Jerry's and spent almost $16 on a brownie and 2 scoops of ice cream.

And the very nice guy at B&J's offered to help us take a picture. It totally took me by surprise.

Happy 2008!

大头Fattie didn't have any plan for New Year's celebration initially. But as 大头 wanted to have something nice for dinner to mark an end to 2007, we decided to go to Miss Clarity for dinner. Nothing fanciful cos our pockets doesn't permit it.
Not exactly a happy dinner. That place just had to spoil my dinner. Thou shall not elaborate on it though. But Andersen's rum and raisin ice cream makes my day.

Since everyone are doing this, we decided to give it a try as well.

We reached home before 10pm to avoid crowds.
But my mum is more hip than I do. She wants to have some feel of counting down. Thus we went down together with my cousin for the Countdown at AMK central.
First time in my life I've seen fireworks so near. Happiness.

New Year's Eve!

It's New Year's Eve and 大头Fattie can't help but blend into the festive mood. We started our New Year's Eve evening by going down to Bugis as we intend to have our dinner at Ms Clarity's cafe for our NYE dinner.

At Bugis we tried the fries from YellaFellas which we heard to be quite good. We bought the regular and chose the Herb Mayo for our fries. It turned out to be good. Heh. The fries are similar to those at MOS Burgers and Herb Mayo tastes nice even after we have had quite abit of it. The only downside was that the fries were a little to salty.

After some shopping we went over to Ms Clarity's for our dinner. Luckily we were there early as the crowd came shortly after we were seated. Service was slightly below standards but the helpful and polite manager made things better. Food was good generally but it seems that it gets quite 腻 after awhile.

After spending sometime in town area, 大头Fattie decides to head home as the rate the crowd was growing got a little scary (大头Fattie showing signs of aging haha).

Although 大头Fattie had left the town area, 大头Fattie didn't miss out Year End countdown! We went to the countdown party at Amk which also had fireworks. The fireworks were nice in the way that it was a mini one at near distance. The feeling beats those large scale fireworks in a way haha.
